Hi there, a simple question for you. I imported several short videos to a new project in Adobe Premier Pro. When I see these videos (they are in avi format) separately, lets say in VLC or windows player, they have a decent video quality, but when I process a sequence with several videos in APP, the outcome is simply awful.

What should I do to get at least the original quality of the videos?

    Thank you very much

When you say ‘when I process a sequence’, do you mean that you are encoding a finalized project?
If so, it all depends on your export settings, what codec you are using, and how much compression you are using (the bitrate) versus the frame size and frame rate.
What format is the source material?
    Are you resizing the video?
Do your project settings match your output settings?
What playback medium are you encoding this for – desktop, standalone hardware?
We’d need a lot more information to give you more specific answers.
Maybe, fill out your profile with your apps and system specs so we can see what you are working with, and maybe search the premiere forums…
Here, or at the top of this page^^^
…or look through some of the posts.

You’re right. There are lots of questions that I don’t even know how to answer. I’ll start from the beginning, the basics.
Thanks again and if you have any recommendation on where to start, I would appreciate it
