    Hi.
I’m pretty new to Vegas editing software. To be honest, is my first approach to any editing software.
I’ve just created a video intro following a tutorial on the internet. the intro it’s cool, I’ve had to use 3 video tracks, one as a duplicate of other, the other with custom configuration and the other as default. I’ve just followed the instructions and the intro look nice.
My problem is that I now want to continue with this project, but with a normal video stream, and I don’t know how to tell the program to hide, or stop using this 3 modified video streams, after the intro has gone (like after 20 seconds in the timeline). How can I do that? of it’s not possible? I have to export this intro as one project, and start another new one to work on a more standard way?

thanks in advanced for your help

    Max

I suspect that you do not need another project, but, without knowing more about what you want to do, I cannot really say what your next steps should be. You can, of course, simply add additional clips to the timeline using either the tracks you have already established, or a new track. To some extent, the answer depends on the version of Vegas that you are using. Vegas Pro can handle at least 99 tracks. Other versions may be more limited. Personally, I do not add additional tracks unless that is absolutely necessary.

Your best bet is to describe the remainder of your project in a much more detailed fashion.

    Thanks for your quick question.
I think I’ve solved the problem.
I’ve added this modified video tracks as childs of a primary track. that way, I can edit video in the primary track without the modifications of the other tracks influence my work.
Sorry If I’ve not made myself clear.. This is all new to me.

I’m not sure whether I understand whatyou are doing. But if I understand your question well, I would say that you can simply add a new track (In Vegas Pro you have an unlimited number of tracks) or you start a new project and import the intro into the new project as a nested file
