    Hello everyone,

I’ve got an HPX170 and want to start toying with scene files and varying the frame rate. I’ve got the CD from the “HVX & HPX Book” that has many sample scene files I’d love to use but I’m not sure how to load them onto the SD card. Do I need a separate SD card reader to access the card on my PC? I’ve formatted the SD card in the HPX, yet I don’t see it under ‘My Computer’ when I use “USB Connect” mode with the HPX.

I also have a digital camera that uses SD cards and I when I USB connect this camera, I can explore the card, though I dont see the folder/files I’m supposed to replace with the modified scene files.

Here’s the instructions that came with the modified files, and my problem is I cant find any “Private” Directory- any ideas? thank you!

“To use these files, first format an SD card
    in the camera.

Then drag the “PRIVATE” directory onto the SD card,
replacing its “PRIVATE” directory. That should
copy all the appropriate directories and all their
    contents onto the SD card.

Then, just load the SD card into your HVX and
go to the Card Functions menu and load one of
the scene file packages into your camera.

If that doesn’t work, you can manually go into
    “SCENE FILES\PRIVATE\MEIGROUP\PAVCN\SBG\P2SD”
    and copy the SCENE1.TXT, SCENE2.TXT, SCENE3.TXT
and SCENE4.TXT files from the CD into the
    “PRIVATE\MEIGROUP\PAVCN\SBG\P2SD” directory on the
    SD card.
