    Hey agian pplz – its ME the useless Renderer!!

    lol im just editing an mp4 (from utube) and im wanting to edit it then render it with vegas for playback on a mac

    I think my wife will be connecting it to a projector for bigscreen use.
    I was just going to render as normal avi uncompressed.. but im always wrong so can anyone enlighten me??

    Mac’s don’t like AVI and uncompressed is extremely large and hard to play back. You want to render back to MP4 and her Mac should be able to play it. Use either the MainConcept AVC or Sony AVC codecs as a starting point. Alternately render a QuickTime (*.mov) file. QuickTime is the native format for Macs.
