  • Basic question: import path from PS into AE

I just can’t remember how I did last time.
It wasn’t that much complicated, is it?

can someone give me a quick tip for that?

    I really appreciate it.

You can just select the path in PS and paste it onto a layer in AE.
Just make sure you’ve selected the actual path – not the selection
    from the path (travelling ants).

is there some setting or have to check in preferance in PS?
I drag to select the path and copy and paste into AE layer, but nothing is happening.

    further advise please.

The only pref I can think might matter is “export clipboard” under the
“general” setting in PS. This works for me every time.

    I’m using PS CS1 and AE 6.5.
