I have created a photoshop image that is an image of an alley way, with posters each side. In photoshop I can move the poster images to create a vanishing point, to make them look like they’re on the wall. I do this by dragging them whilst holding down control.

I now want to animate this in After Effects, and have different posters flashing and changing on the wall. The thing is, I can import the original JPEG but I can’t seem to do the same as in photoshop, to grab hold of one corner and drag it whilst holding control, to change the dimensions.

I have tried using the 3D layer, but this doesn’t allow me to extend the image.

If you would like an image of what i’m on about, then please let me know.

This is for a university project, and i’m propper struggling, so any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks.

try applying the CORNER PIN effect to the jpeg .. it is in Effects->Distort ….. then you can grab each corner and put them where you want … you can also animate each corner point …

    does this help?
