Basic Audio Mix workflow FCPX?
Hi. Just wondering what the basic audio mix workflow should be for FCPX? After files are added, should db remain at zero on clips and then do all adjusting with effects like loudness, limiter, compressor etc? What is each step one should take in terms of the order of effects to add to audio? Thanks.
Oh yea, big question, what should the volume setting be on an iMac to use to judge the mix? Halfway up the volume meter? I adjust narration to -6 to -12db and sounds too low when played back at volume only halfway up the meter. But other youtube videos are the right volume at that computer volume setting. What am I missing? Thanks!
