simple. copy the path/shape in Illustrator.

in After Effects, select your camera’s position propery in the timeline, then paste.

a motion path with keyframes is created.

    Hey,
I’m trying to do basically the same thing.
Everytime I attempt to paste the path as Position keyframes it just pastes it as a new Mask. Am I missing something?

    Thanks.

I figured it out. I was trying to select the acutal mask instead of copying from the Mask Shape property.
I thought I was going crazy.
