April 26, 2024 at 8:51 pmThe ‘Steering_Miura’ (front tire steering angle) object works when FL1 is connected to rotation H for me in one direction but breaks in the other rotation direction.
Screen capture attached.
I was under the impression that the ‘Steering_Miura’ is keyframeable (as is the ‘Drift_Miura’) but does not automatically turn based on spline shape when looking at the rig author’s animation example file.

April 26, 2024 at 11:29 pmYou’re right. I’m not a rigger myself, so I overlooked those mistakes.
Upon closer inspection, I realized that “FL1” and “FR1” should output “Rotation.H” rather than just “Rotation”. 😅

April 26, 2024 at 11:52 pmYou’re way ahead of me on rigging/Xpresso!
That update to Rotation H rather than just Rotation fixed that steering error.
Thank you.
I’ll follow up with more as I continue to iron this out. It may bake correctly now actually.. -

One more thing. I don’t believe I corrected the chassis rotation within the rig itself. After baking, I simply opened the Animation Editor and dragged every key that was above 5 degrees down to normalize the animation. If not, you might encounter the same motion blur issue I experienced in my initial render in this post.
