    Hey ladies and gents

Trying to figure out how to bake GI. I can’t find it in my v9 manual, and I’ve recently upgraded to v10.
I can bake AO, but not GI.

    Suggestions? Comments? Questions?

Oh yeah, bake object — I look smart

Maybe next time I should open my eyes.

I’m trying to bake GI for an output to be composited for a matchmove shot. The elements aren’t moving, so I figured I’d save a boatload of time if I just bake it.

I can’t figure out how to send out the baked GI layers — if i can at all —

Baking’s not the same as multipass rendering, but you could render out a diffuse pass of just the baked objects.
