bake different passes in cinema
hello,
I found the wonderful tool of baking textures and reall amazing way to export textures.
But I was wondering if it possible to export these textures in the different passes such as occlusion, diffuse, specular.
for now, from Bake object , I can only create the occlusion and diffuse texture .
anyone has any idea???

the bake texture tag has the ability to do many more layers but you have to put them back in the texture by hand.

I think this is exactly what I have been looking for. This is a great way to connect textures in video copilot plugin Element . It is the fastest way to rebuild textures.
Sometimes some textures , show up black ( nothing on the screen ) and with low quality. any idea?

typically if you have black materials (with images linked) it means C4D can’t find the image with the low quality preview from before sometimes showing. If it’s something to do with the copilot plugin I wouldn’t know.

Yes, Video copilot has a new plugin that accept cinema 4d files natively , so you can 3d in AE. Really cool stuff.

if it’s black because it can’t find an image map you just have to make sure the link is correct, if it is correct and it’s still black that’s different and I wouldn’t guess with out seeing the scene (in C4D I mean, I don’t have AE)
