Tried launching Premiere, fine, but when i would go to capture mode or general settings, it would freeze. Found out thru online help that switching user accounts thru windows might solve the problem, and it did. Now my question is, does anyone know how to fix the old user account to work with premiere again. Must be user registery issue. Anyone know the entries that need to be changed or deleted?

The only thing that makes sense to me is that one account is a “Limited” account and one account is a an “Administrator” account.

Go into Control Panel and change your “Limited account to Administrator” and that might fix the problem.
