Bad quality video exports, other problems, need help.
I’m using Adobe premiere CS3. I’m using it to compile .avi (Xvid) video. The original video files are actually .mpg, but AP didn’t seem to like it. The video skipped and lagged really bad. I need to know what I should start this project as, and what my export settings should be. As of right now I’m getting really bad quality render. I also seem to get the skipping problem if I use the fade ins/outs, using the pen tool.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Xvid is not suitable for editing and Adobe does not like it. Either use MS-DV type 2 AVI or HDV MPEG.
