  Bad quality on Menus…especially with any lettering

  Has anyone experienced a problem with antialiasing on footage in Menu Backgrounds?
  Dropping the exact same footage into a timeline looks great but try and get it in a menu background and its appaling.It cant be a transcode or interlacing problem because of it looking fine in a timeline.
  The main problem is that the type looks dreadful….and worse once its on a TV.

  Any ideas as to why the same footage is treated differently in a menu than it is in a timeline?
