    Bad Monitoring of Component Signal

    We Are loading 16:9 component signal into Media 100 8.22. When we monitor the digitizing signal it is scrambled. But the digitized footage plays back fine. It’s just a slightly annoying problem while digitizing. We are loading component out 480p from a HDV deck and have had similar situation when loading component off of DVD.

    When digitizing component signals you also should connect a Composite out signal to the Composite in of Media 100 as a reference. This should fix the problem.

    It’s not scrambled anymore but my color is all over the place, just in digitizing. Plays back fine.
