    Hello,

we are still running a Premiere 1.5.1 system with a Decklink card – I believe it is the Decklink Extreme, driver version 4.7.0. It´s PAL. SD 8 Bit.

Now we have a problem inserting graphics with fill and key into the programme. We are using the “track mask key” (not sure if it´s the right english language term, in German it´s “Spurmaske Key”), with the luminance signal of the key footage as key signal. So far we had no problems working like that.

But now with new graphic elements the key result is pretty bad AFTER RENDERING. Before rendering the single field shown in preview is fine. Bur after rendering the edges of the graphic elements are not fine anymore but siky and jittering.
We have tried every possible filed order option so that can´t be the problem.

And: On another decklink system (Premiere 1.5.1, Decklink Multibridge, driver 5.7.1.0)the keying is working fine. I don´t think that the fill & key footage is the problem.

Is this a known issue? will it be fixed by updating the driver? Or could it be something else.

Since we had bad experiences with newer drivers on this system I am very reluctant to change the driver version. We need the system for other jobs all the time and don´t wont to risk new instability issues through changing the driver.

We are grateful for any help.

    Thanks
