Bad Image Quality captured from JVC 110U
I shot footage on a JVC 100U using the SD 60/30 setting. I have captured it into FCP 5.0.6 on a Mac 2. 2.8 GHz Quad core intel xeon running Mac OSX 10.5.4. The image quality looks fine in the camera flip out screen – in FCP it has banding and also warbly glowing and weirdness anywhere there is movement in the frame.
Any advice for me?

Never heard of FCP 5.0.6.
Have you tried Final Cut Pro > Easy Setup DV-NTSC?

Yes – I’ve used easy set up and also tried to input with a variety of settings in the camera itself.
it was shot at 60/30.
any other ideas?
