I’d contact them and ask for specifics (codec, frame rate, file size, etc.,). If they don’t care about codec or file size I’d send them an uncompressed file. The less compression you have to use the better and h.264 is a very compressed codec.

The final product is destined for an interlaced medium (TV) so deinterlacing it will just be unneeded destruction because it will get reinterlaced down the line. Paul just needed to view his interlaced material on a monitor that properly displayed interlaced footage.-A
