background image not showing in mp4 render
this is odd,
I have a .jpg on a track which I use as a bg to titles. i set the image’s track’ opacity low (very faint image). I do see it on the preview screen, I do see it in the rendered Windows movie (.wmv) however, i can’t see it in the resulting video if rendered as main concept mp4.
any ideas?

Did you toggled with the mp4 render settings and see what happened?

Hi Steve,
No I didn’t play around with the settings. I’m hoping someone has experienced this and therefore will help save me lots of time by not having to render over and over.

I just had that problem yesterday, I was using my jpeg with an alpha Chanel,whenever I rendered with my mp4 setting it was GONE ? I had to render my jpeg to a AVI file then render down my whole project to the MP4 that I needed, & that is how I solved my problem.

This seems very strange. In my case it doesn’t dissapear, it simply is so dim I can barely see it. I the Vegas source, although the opacity is diminished, I can still see it as a watermark before the render.
Does anybody have any insight on this? It doesn’t seem to make sense since the insertion of jpgs is supported.
