  Axus server disappeared over night with Mac osx 10.5.8 and atto celerity fibre link

   The mac is not mounting the external 3 TB drive. It worked fine and in    
   the                                                                       
   morning when switched on it did not mount.                                
   All the drives on the server are fine.                                    
   We tried swaping the fibre cables, the spfs.                              
   The link light is steady and green yet the server does not mount.         
   Any thoughts?

  We also installed a different card and in the system the fibre channel say that the link is functioning.

  I set the data rate to 2 gb same as the server, arbitrary loop.

  Can the raid controller be dead and the front panel of the server does not report a fault?

  Also if we have to buy a new server what is your best advice on what to get.

  I am very upset as the server is only 4 years old and for the money we paid for it I would have expected to work twice as long. And all my edits will have to be re capture.
