    Mornun all,

Just been talking to someone on another forum about the Matrox Axio HD system, for realtime editing & FX in Premiere. Has anyone any experience of this system doing wonderful things with AE? I mean, would it help the app operate any better than say a quad xeon system with nucleo pro installed? (the Axio would be on a similar system, but with the addition of the axio hardware and no nucleo)

OR….could having Nucleo installed on the Axio aswell theoretcally boost even more?

Or would this system not benefit AE at all?!?

    Just interested, as for under

AFAIK I know it is only used for preview purposes. You should not hope to achieve miracles, but I believe the have one or two accelerated effects that even work in AE. However, in light of AE itself being able to accelerate effects with graphics hardware (a trend which is surely going to manifest itself even more in future versions) and NucleoPro being around, you most likely would be better off investing in a high-powered graphics card and a multicore/ multiprocessor system with lots of RAM for your AE work.

I figured that was probably the case after looking more into it.
    Thanks Mylenium.
