Rendering projects eats up considerable time for us so we are looking for workflow strategies to make us more productive.

We looked into network rendering but it appeared a bit daunting.
    Anyone mastered it?

Any speedy workflows to move entire Vegas projects from an editors machine to a render machine?

    Thanks

I put my media on an eSATA drive and plug it into a cheaper, slower PC for the final render.

I haven’t used the renderfarm option because almost everything I do is for DVD or web. MPEG and h.264 are encoded, not rendered. Notwithstanding that Vegas puts both encoding and rendering tasks in the same “render as” menu.
