Avoiding colour promote in 3.5
My clients have just purchased a new avid running 3.5, the rest of their MC’s run 2.7x.
It’s a real nuisance that when you open a sequence on the new avid it promotes the colour correction fx and creates a new sequence.Can this be avoided and if so how?

Don’t think so. If you need to go back to an older version, you can still demote the sequence.

Uninstall 3.5, install 3.whatever is the latest version prior to 3.5.

Is it possible to open a sequence without promoting it when you maid the mistake of saying yes to auto promote on open? How to reverse it?
