    Hi guys,

    I’m currently setting up a template for others to use and was hoping to get around having to use a checkbox control in Effects Control

    E.g:

    Layer 1 is visible
    Layer 2 is shyed and locked away

    I would like to make it so when Layer 1’s physical layer toggle is turned off Layer 2’s opacity/layer toggle is 0/off.

    Is this possible at all?

    Thanks!

    You can’t control the eyeball toggle with an expression, but this should work for opacity:

    thisComp.layer(“Layer 1”).enabled ? 100 : 0;
