avids and fonts
I will be looking this up in the manual when I get near one later on, but for the moment I was wondering if there are any hard and fast rules for loading fonts into the avid.
I know to put them in the fonts folder. The problem is that I have Eurostyle loaded in its many versions( BOLD< OBLIQUE< EXTENDED LIGHT) but only the regular version shows up in the title tool. The interesting thing is that on a system 2 doors down it shows as the regular verion but in title tools it only displays the extended version. Fonts and the title tool have thrown me for a loop forever, and so I am wondering if any hard fast rules apply. Thanks in advance, seb

I know it only seems to like true type fonts? I recently downloaded a bunch of fonts and installed them into the fonts folder… all the true types show up in the marquee have not checked the title tool yet.
Any one else know any font knowledge?
