I have a project that I worked on in Avid Xpress Pro 4.5. I would like to bring this project into ProTools LE. However, the Protools is on a different computer. Do I just plug in my firewire drive and open up the avid project through Protools. both computers are PC.
    Thank you.

Hi. First, make a duplicate of this sequence and consolidate it into an external firewire drive. Make sure that you do not delete the original media files from the main drive. Once you are through, the firewire drive will have an exact copy of your final edited sequence. Now open that sequence and export a quicktime reference file and save it on the same firewire drive. Now you are free to move this drive to another system and import this QT reference files (.mov and .aiff) into ProTools. If you want the entire timeline (composition), try exporting your consolidated sequence as AAF. HTH
