    AVID XPRESS PRO capture not working

    Hey Guys,

    Old Avid editor here.

    I have just set up a projet to capture through FIREWIRE using RS-422 serial adaptor. I am not getting any response from my deck. In fact, the CAPTURE option does not even highlite in the menu. I can’t open the capture window to even log.

    Does anyone out there know why this happeningn and how I can fix it????

    I troubleshooted around and even had to open FCP -which sees the deck and signal perfectly. But this project must stay in Avid. Any ideas?
