I can’t seem to post this on the Avid Forums so I am asking here.

I have a show that I recorded on a DataVideo Hard Disc Recorder in .dv format. The file is split over multiple files names video1.dv video1_1.dv and so on.

When I import that into Avid, each time there is a split in the file, I either get an audio glitch or nothing at all. However, when I view the file in quicktime, the audio is fine.

    Any suggestions on this one?

If you have QT Pro you can just export the audio for each movie as an AIFF and place them in the sequence.

But wouldn’t that be double the work? My other problem is that there are multiple cuts that I am making in this video so that brings a whole other world of problems with audio sync and so forth.
