    Avid Xpress DV Pro and Microsoft XP Media Center. Do they get along?

    Howdy-

    Looking at an off the shelf laptop to do some quick editing.
    Most laptops I find run Microsoft Media Center as the OS. Will that jive with Avid Xpress Pro (v4.6)? I see the official Avid page says “Windows XP Professional w/ Service Pack 2”, how true is that?

    Its true. No point of messing around with the wrong OS.

    I haven’t heard of anyone trying to run Xpress Pro on it, but it wouldn’t be my first choice. The extra stuff welcomes the opportunity for problems.
