  Avid Xpress 4.6 ..New user…Video Bad after rendering…Help me

  Hi,
  I just got an HP XW8000 with an ATI FX 256 MB graphics card .Dual Xeon 2.8 and 1.5 GB RAM.
  I have installed the Avid Xpress PRO 4.6 with Sony DSR45p connected thru firewire .This is what I find when I am making a 25i project from DVCAM :

  1. When capturing video the display on the desktop is flickering dots sometimes but the output thru the deck to the monitor is perfect.When I playback from the timeline the video playing on the desktop is having flickering dots but the output to monitor is okay.

  2. When I put any kind of video effect such as colour correction after render the video is full of dots and breaks on the desktop and also on the monitor .

  Can someone help me on this.
