    Long story short,

The sound editor of a project I worked on has discovered that the AAF I sent is out of sync in various places when she opens it in Pro Tools. I no longer have the original drive (It’s going to be mailed back to me) so I cant tell what the problem was from the original project. Although I know it was in sync when I exported.

I do have the AAF I sent her, though. So I wanted to import to Avid to check it and see if I could do anything to fix it at my end.

The timeline imports okay, however, all the Avid Mediafiles are offline and I am unable to relink any of it. If I click reveal file on a clip, it is unable to do it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    First question.

Was it an embedded aaf or was the media sent in a side folder?

(How big is the aaf you are importing?)
