Avid Won’t boot Up??
Power Mac G4 1.42 Ghz 10.4.7 OSX with Avid Express Pro 4.8.4
Question: When I click on the Avid logo it just bounces for a long time?? Never comes on, I reinstalled Avid EX Pro and then upgraded back to Avid 4.8.4 and still not booting up….I let it sit and finnally got a message, that I’m not authorized to use the software..dongle in…Is this a OSX issue ??? thanks to all who reply!

I don’t think Avid Xpress 4.8.4 will run on 10.4.7

Do a search in the Avid forums or Avid knowledgebase. I can about guarantee you this problem is already posted somewhere there with a viable solution.
