• Avid Media Composer

  Avid will not launch… any ideas?

  Hi.. I recently had Avid Xpress Pro until I upgraded to Media Composer software only (ver 2.5.3). I installed the software but when i go to launch the program, nothing happens…at all. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling with no luck. I’ve made sure that there is nothing in the Avid install directory before I install again. So I went back to Xpress Pro vers. 5.6.3, and same deal; nothing happens when I launch the program.

  I am on Win XP Pro SP2 – AMD Athlon XP 2500 1.83 GHz. 1 GB ram.

  Anybody have any ideas as to what is happening here?
