Avid to Premiere with AAF
Hello.
I’m trying to export a timeline from Avid and import it into Premiere pro with AAF
My avid files are consolidated.When I’m importing the AAF file into Premiere pro it is importing the files and I can see the timeline as it is supposed, but need to relink to the MXF files. When relinking to the mediafiles it gives an error regarding the audio. I can relink but, I can’t relink and get the audio tracks from the video files. Am I doing anything wrong or is it not possible?

Adobe premiere CC 2015 v. 9.2
OSX 10.11.4It is Avid Mediafiles MXF
Audio streams: 768 Kbps, 48,0 KHz, 16 bits, 1 kanal, PCM (LITTLE)

This is the original file information from the Canon c300.
And this is the AVID imported file, not the exact same file!

This is what I think your issue is.
When you consolidate to Avid media, it creates separate Video and Audio files (Op Atom MXF media).
Premiere seems to be trying to connect to the original XDCAM media , which has the audio embedded.
In Avid, instead of consolidating, can you try transcoding the audio and video to Avid DNXHD 120? Then try to export AAF again. Make sure you are exporting from the transcoded sequence. Now see if Premiere can figure it out.

I just tried to transcode the files instead, this gives me some of the files online with audio and 2/3 og the files offline, when trying the relink it does the same as mentioned above. :/

Going between Avid and Premiere can be pretty hit and miss, however both programs can round trip with Resolve very well.
Try sending your Avid AAF to Resolve then export from Resolve to Premiere.
Resolve is free, so worth a shot. -
Its no problem for Resolve, but it doesn’t help to make a new AAF file from Resolve to Premiere. :/
Its really strange, specielle because some of the files is online.
