AVID to FC7 back to AVID Help needed
My footage was transcoded from Raw Red through Davinci into AVID MXF DNX
We think switched to an editor who works in FC7
When the FC7 turnover was done to the Post house the timeline names don’t match the OCF names
I was told AVID changed the names and preserves them in the ALE
However the ALE can not import into FC7
I’ve heard automaticduck can resolve this. I’ve written to them and not received a response
Does anyone hear her have the old automaticduck that they would be willing to share?
Does anyone have a solution for the FC7 turnover issue?

Some have had luck with this workflow.
Have you tried asking in the Avid MC forum?I know one trick is how you sort the naming part and need to add a column or something.
Ugh its been so long so Im no help there.
