Hi folks, at the risk of being hissed at and flamed:

I’m a sound editor/mixer and have been told by an editor (AVID) that they cannot deliver MJPEG-A (I know Apple has ‘hidden’ legacy codecs in OS updates) nor DVCPro.

I find it hard to believe they’ve ditched DVCPro NTSC as well now. Is this really correct?

Anyone know if the ‘terminal workaround’ would work for that?

    Thank you.

They will need to install the optional Quicktime 7 player on their SL system and enable Quicktime Pro.

I have SL with MC 5, and I can clearly see both DV / DVCPRO NTSC and MJPEG-A (I have legacy codecs turned on).

Outstanding! Thanks very much for that.
