Is it possible(with workarounds) to hva a pan&zoom image ontop of a background and only grade the p&z effect. the only thing i seem to be able to do is CCE the whole thing. tried putting it in a subclip. Only grader which applies to p&z seem to be CC effect.

Is there a way to extract the alpha from the effect? cause then I could mixdown, grade then apply the alpha on my mixdown, showing my bcg unaltered.

If you want to create a matte, which will make your work around work, then do exactly the same pan and zoom move, but, replace your still with a white field, mix it down and you have an matte, you can use this then as a matte/alpha matte for your cc, or whatever effect you wish to add.
