    Avid Offline Editing Process

    Hi,

    I’m setting up an Avid project and am transcoding files for the first time in order to edit with lower resolution clips.
    My question is: Should I sync up the clips with the audio prior to the transcode or after it?

    My logic says I should do it before, but I am not sure.
    I’ve tried to find an answer to this online but failed to do so.

    Transcoding and organizing is done before you sync. Transcode…organize, sync…
