Getting an error message stating not enough memory going to video card. How can I shift memory? Need to be portable for a project. Followed some online instructions to disable Aero in Windows 7 and it’s not on the option list. Please advise.

[Ken Calcaterra] “not enough memory going to video card. How can I shift memory?”

YOu can’t shift memory to the video card. Video cards have built in memory…and it is set in stone.

Avid MC has a list of supported computer configurations it works with. You can’t just grab any old off the shelf computer and use it with Media Composer. There are specs that need to be met.

Thanks for the reply Shane. After a long investigation I realized Windows 7 used a generic driver for the video card. I found the proper Nvidia driver and it appears to be working great.
