Avid Media Composer computer specs
Hello! Avid used to have an extensive table with all the technical specs recommended for different kinds of computers. That link is now dead https://avid.secure.force.<wbr>com/pkb/sfc/servlet.shepherd/<wbr>document/download/<wbr>069VP00000QkLk2YAF?<wbr>operationContext=S1

Which is less extensive.

Hey Vicky,
Just checked, and yes, Salesforce seems to have taken control of AVID links.
Through Google search I managed to get this link to work:

There are different opinions about Apple on the Mac Silicon, but if AVID has certified it, I would go with it.
Mainly I use PC, but I once had the job of editing a broadcast programme on a 14-inch MacBook Pro, and promised myself never, ever, to do that again. That was on FCPX, but imagine the problem would be the same on AVID MC.
My recommendation would be that you, if you don’t have it already, get a 24′ or larger monitor.
