Avid Media Composer and XENA Video card
Hi Guys…. Can I add to my laptop a Xena 2ke video card. If Not, what video card can I get to capture uncompress footage with the sony ex1. Windows XP system.
What about the DeckLink HD. Is just for Mac?
What do you recommend to capture uncompress from the Sony ex1?

Avid Composer works only with AVID MOJO Analog or SDI or AVID Adrenaline.

Though I would wait until NAB before purchasing anything. Avid apparently has two sets of announcements to make still. The first will be in LA on the 8th.

I hope to win the lottery, but I doubt this will happen. I doubt that AVID will use the Xena card for Media Composer. I will bet you money that they do not.
