    Hi all
    I have spent quite a while getting to grips with AMC having switched from Avid Liquid. I have masterd the basics and moving on and learning all the time. However one basic item I cannot seem to find is how to do a straight cut into a clip on the time line. I can splice in a segment etc and then remove it which gives me the cut I want, but surely there must be a command just to do a straight cut so I can split a clip in to several smaller clips.

    You’re looking for Add Edit. You can map it to your keyboard or button palettes.
