Avid Media Composer 4 and DSLR footage
I am planning on shooting footage with the Canon 7D in 1080/24p. I am running Media Composer 4.0 with the Avid Mojo SDI. What do I have to do and need to know to make sure my system is ready for that footage? I know this isn’t a simple question to answer, but it’s the only question I have at the moment.

Render something to DNxHD 120, and see if your system copes with that.
If so, you’re homefree.And you probably want this:
