Avid Media Composer 3.5 Trial Version NOT WORKING

Hi guys, I’m experiencing the same thing, can’t use Avid actually because of the error “File ‘Avid Projects’ Not Found. This is my first time using the software. I don’t have any previous versions of Avid or its components. I’m a Final Cut Pro user. I installed the software on my macbook pro 2.16 ghz., OS 10.5.7 Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks!
