  Avid MC7-HP Z800-Windows 8 Slow Startup-No HDMI Monitor

  Hi

  I’m running Avid MC 7 on an HP Z800 Workstation with the most recent update of Windows 8.

  Starting up after shutdown takes a very long time, with the Blue HP start screen in view, eventually a hard reboot is required to get windows to start.

  When Windows does finally start up, Avid can’t see the attached HDMI Monitor (connected via AJA HI5) until the whole system is restarted again.

  Any help greatly appreciated.
