Avid MC with Mojo SDI is still in Beta for a new MacPro running MacOSX. But if one is booting under WinXP, will the MC work?

I don’t know about MC, but on the Avid forums there has been some success with Xpress Pro running on the PC side of the new Macs. There’s one way to find out–boot into XP, install it, try to start the program! It doesn’t take that long to install and you should know pretty quickly if it will work. Some people got most functionality–I think there might be some issues with full screen playback, and I don’t know about the Mojo running with it, but you might be able to have a software only editor on the PC side of your Mac until the MacIntel version is released.

Good luck! If you get it running, let us know how it is.

    Michael.

McSoft works. We run it here, although MOJO does NOT work.
But for us it’s good enough for rock ‘n roll.
