AVID MC borderline newbie – Using gain and volume controls simultaneously
Hi guys,
As I understand it, when viewing and setting levels in media composer\’s audio mixer, we are looking at the gain levels – not volume levels.
But, I can\’t seem to set gain keyframes. I can set volume keyframes, but the volume keyframes or levels aren\’t visible in the audio mixer.So, my question is… can i set gain keyframes? And, is there a way to see any audio keyframes in the audio mixer?

Thanks for the reply Bill. Interesting article. Still doesn’t quite get to the bottom of what I’m trying to figure out, but interesting and relevant nonetheless.
