  Avid MC 8.7 – beeps on audio playback since this morning

  Hi All,

  Since this morning Avid has begun playing “beeps” on certain audio that is peaking.
  It’s never done this before today.

  Does anyone have any idea how to make this go away? It’s making me nuts!
  I’ve trashed preferences twice and restarted three times.

  Any help would be appreciated.
