I’m not sure where to post this, so…

I’ve just upgraded my OS to 10.7.2 as well as my MC from 5.5 to 6… All that was left was adding the Desktop Video application, available from BMD, and get back to work…

I’ve since lost all of my audio playback out of Avid and is still available for Premiere 5.5, FCP 7, Spotify and literally anything else I load…

short of removing the card or reinstalling Avid MC 6 are there any tips anyone has for getting it working again?

Your audio playback from MC6 is only available via the Decklink. Is that where you lost it or are you referring to core audio from the built-in outputs? You can’t access those from MC6 with the card installed.

When using a Decklink card with MC6, the audio is sent out embedded with the video on the SDI feed. It should also be available from the audio outputs of the Decklink card. It will not be available on the computer’s line outputs.

Avid doesn’t output audio from the computer with the Decklink card…only through the card.

The computers built in audio would be out of sync.

Is there any way to turn off the Decklink card without uninstalling the driver or removing the card from the MacPro?

No. MC uses the card, if present.
