I have posted this on the Avid forum, but didnt get much help back.

I work at a production company which has recently set up a ISIS 5000 server to store all our projects, media, everything. One glaring problem we have is that the labels we assign to a file on one computer, don’t show when we look at the same file on another computer. In fact, it seems multiple computers can set the colour independently of each other (one person has it ticked red, another blue, another yellow etc).

Person A on Computer A labels a file ‘Red’, but when Person B on Computer B looks at the file in Finder, the label isnt there. BUT, the label is still viewable on the original computer.

It would seem that for some reason the label selection isnt translating across the ISIS.

Everyone is running OS X 10.6.8
    Avid ISIS 5000 v3.2.0.355

Has anyone experienced this before? My understanding is that the ISIS servers run a proprietary file system format however I was under the impression that the colour was stored in the fork file (which are definitely there when looking at the contents of the server from a windows machine)

Any help would be much appreciated!
